TODAY VEEJAY TIMMY RELEASED A STATEMENT REGARDING THAT SUBJECT.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
Our attention has been drawn to a recent
comment making news promoted by jobless and
mischief makers who are bent on destroying the
growing entertainment industry in Kaduna State.
We consider their action a move to cripple the
already fragile entertainment industry in spite of
the huge efforts been put in place by
stakeholders and lovers of entertainment in the
state to resuscitate the dying industry, we are
glad that time has exposed their activities.
The state recently has witnessed an upsurge in
its drive to establish a solid entertainment sector
driven on the wheels of industry players who
have committed their resources and platforms to
promote Kaduna and showcase her
entertainment prowess as the hub in Northern
Nigeria to the world.
Tirelessly working together with well meaning
sponsors, partners and supporters, we have
designed an annual musical festival in the state
to revitalise the almost dying industry tagged:
Crockcity Homecoming Fest. We have continued
to contribute our resources and put together a
world class team who work round the clock to
put Kaduna on the map of leading entertainment
states in Nigeria by creating an unmatched
entertainment experience for our teeming fans.
The least anybody could do is to support this
initiative which have received commendation
from the state government, industry players and
fans alike have adjudged it to be one of the best
thing that has happened to the sector in recent
times.
The management and board of Crockcity
Homecoming Group promoters of Crockcity
Homecoming Fest wish to state that our platform
was launched on 15th December 2016 to create
a robust sector opportunity for artists and music
promoters to leverage on. Annually, we host
artists making waves around the globe with root
from Kaduna state to play to the delight of fans
at home as a means of bridging the gap between
fame and fans. Any artist who shows interest,
modalities are put together to host them.
The first edition witnessed the scintillating
musical performances of the shake body Crona
Skales in company of: ClassiQ, Tolu, Lyrical Dr
Smith, and supporting artists in the state one
night that left music lovers asking for more and
in their hundreds came out to enjoy themselves.
The second edition was co-hosted by one of our
partners NAF Club. Music was redefined as
Kaduna’s very own sensational R&B and Soul
singer Praiz in company of Denrele, Marvis, Bally,
Gospel on da beat, IK Chukwu, ClassiQ, Tolu, MC
Tagwaye, etc. created a wave in the industry and
raised the bar of entertainment experience in the
state.
The comment attributed to Praiz, “I did a free
show for people in Kaduna” have called to
question an integrity disposition. For the records,
all artists who were featured on the second
edition tagged: Praiz and Friends came on our
request and all bills borne by Crockcity
Homecoming Group and its partners who in a bid
to control the crowd recommended that the
show be gated. Our first show was free and we
ended up paying for damages caused by fans
who came to be entertained. Our drive at
Crockcity Homecoming Group is to bring the
best entertainment experience to the good
people of Kaduna state and that we promise to
do.
We continue to seek the support of established
and well meaning people of the state to support
the growth of this sector and not leave it to die
in the hands of mischief makers.
We wish to use this medium to appeal to
mischief makers to use their platforms and time
in promoting unity, love and a healthy sector
upon which investors will come knocking.
Signed
Timothy Felix (VJ TeeMee)
